After visiting the pearl market in Beijing in 2008 he decided to apply his fashion design skills honed at Montreal’s LaSalle College toJewelry.
With pearls as the heart of every collection, a Participation in PLDT Canada Philippines fashion week was the perfect occasion to showcase the rare and coveted Golden Philippine pearl from Palawan. Jon De Porter is proud to be the designated designer to accessorize Francis Libiran’s ravishing creations and to donate 25% of the profits from each of those pieces to the Kol Hope foundation.
